Research Travels 2023

Trip to Buriatia (Lake Baikal), Siberia - July/August 2023

In the summer of 2023, we made our first preparatory trip to Lake Baikal in Siberia and to Ulan-Ude, the capital of the autonomous Siberian republic of Buryatia.

We visited the organizations of my shaman friends to present our 'Baikal⚭Titicaca' project and to find allies.

We discovered that the shamanic organizations and clans that once came together in joint ceremonies now work separately, each on their own. Although there are individual efforts to form associations, I believe that there is more division today than in 2003 and 2004. Nevertheless, I was confident that we would find support for this important spiritual task of energetically connecting the two majestic lakes and opening the energy path from Lake Baikal to Lake Titcaca in Bolivia.

My shamanic teacher (Baksha) Bairma Baldanva, who had initiated me into Buryat shamanism in 2008, agreed.

At a family ceremony led by her, we were able to ask her ancestral spirit (Ongon) Buha Baabay for blessings and receive information from the spiritual world for the first steps to be taken:

Next summer 2024, a major ceremony is to take place on Olkhon as the first act of the great mission. It should take place at the end of July and bring together as many regional, national and international shamans as possible, especially from the peoples living on the Baikal ⚭ Titicaca route.

The exact form this will take should be planned over the course of the year.

Other organizations from Ulan-Ude and nearby Ivolginsky also pledged their participation and support.

At Olkhon, we got to know a Buryat clan from Mongolia, and there was quickly a feeling of solidarity.  They would be expecting us next year, as they spend the summer months on Olkhon.

Supporting shamanic organizations:

- Organization of shamans of Aginsky under Bairma Baldanova

- Organization Ulan-Ude under Budazhab Shiretorov

- Ivolginsky organization under ChimitTsyren Dugarzhapovich and Oksana Garmaeva

- Buryat Mongols under Bayarmaa Shagdar and her son Selem Zorigt

Our task now is to invite as many international shamans as possible who belong to the peoples on the route.

To this end, I will approach all my contacts in Alaska, the USA and South America and hope to make further contacts, especially in Canada and Central America.

A crowdfunding campaign will be launched to cover travel costs for those shamans who are unable to finance the trip themselves.

A filmmaker may be chosen for the documentary, because this great journey in the footsteps of the ancestors should reach as many people as possible by means of a film project and invite them to actively participate in the transformation into the new era.

We are looking for support in all areas of the project, such as project management, PR, finance/crowdfunding, research (e.g. water, environment, shamanic cultures on the route, migration history, etc.), because the project is a community project and we want to unite like-minded people who want to bring a small, large part of the world (from the north-east to the south-west) closer together with us.We are opening the energy line from Baikal to Titicaca and, by connecting all our energies, we are increasing the frequency that is allowed to flow in this path.

The power of all the descendants of the ancestors of South America may flow into the world united on this energy line and thus contribute to peace and the creation of a more joyful world.

I feel very honored that I was allowed to make such a wonderful journey in these times and, if the spiritual world and we want it, may continue to do so in the future.
